At Haywards we only sell British meat reared to the highest standards by British farmers. We strongly believe in supporting British farms which we visit regularly to ensure our high standards are maintained.
Our beef is supplied by MacDuff, a family of 13 Scottish farms who set a uniquely high standard of beef production. MacDuff cattle are reared naturally and fed only on grass and grass-based products. This diet ensures a full, rich flavour of beef which is matured the traditional way, on the bone for further succulence.
Our Lamb, Pork and Poultry is produced locally from farms in Kent and Sussex. We have known most of the farmers who supply us for many years and together we have built a strong partnership in the supply of quality local meat for our customers.
Straight from the Scottish Highlands our beef is full of flavour and available for roasts, casseroles, steaks and mince.
